Well I have made it finally out to the city in China that will be my home base. Had a grueling trip(at least in my soft Americanized frame of reference).
Left from Richmond on tuesday the 2nd in America and only got here to my town this morning. After a looooooong layover in Cleveland, a loooooong flight over the ocean, a shooooort night in shanghai, a loooooong train ride and finally a nice and short 4 hour zip of a bus ride I am here: bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
A ton of memories have been flooding back from the past trips. The feeling of excitement that always comes when fighting for our King is coming back after about 2 months in semi-retirement. I say semi because in a sense I always was but there is nothing like wielding a sword in the thick of the conflict. Death to all vain imaginations that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God!!
So… anyway, as i was saying before my mind rabbit-trailed, the excitement has been building. Seeing old sights and smelling China again for the first time in three years has been awesome. Someday I will have to drag all of you (my three readers) on a missions trip over here!!
Anyway I will try to keep you guys reasonably well up to date on how things are progressing over here. For the next few days I will be getting settled in and checking out a weekend job teaching english. Prayer that that will go thru fine would be greatly appreciated.
May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of It’s suffering, namely the worship of the holy bride for which it died!!!
